About the house / A note from Apurva
A personal inheritance. A house of my own.
I’m Apurva, the founder of House of Ritva. My journey began in textile design and took me into marketing, including three years with a mental health organisation. Across those worlds, I kept returning to the same question: how can something thoughtfully made become meaningful in everyday life?
My father’s influence runs quietly through Ritva. His work in homeopathy, Reiki and acupressure introduced me to a world where care meant paying close attention to the person in front of you. What stayed with me was that attention: the value of a small gesture, made with intention.
Ritva is my expression of that inheritance, shaped by a designer’s eye and a curiosity about research. The science asks us to be precise. The sacred makes room for personal meaning. Together, they guide the rituals I want to bring into the world.
